Q: Do I have to assemble the frame?
A: No, this frame will come to you fully assembled! In some cases, the white mat will be left outside of the frame to prevent damage and give you a chance to install it with the best fit for your image. Once the image is inside the frame, you can enjoy a sturdy hanging display in any room in your home.
Q: What is the thickness of the mat?
A: The thickness of this mat is 0.060”. Each mat included with our frames is premium-grade and is constructed from 1005 virgin alpha-cellulose paper. This paper is free of acid and lignin to ensure a fade- and bleed-resistant display.
Q: What size picture fits into this frame with the mat in place?
A: This frame is designed to hold a 16 x 24 picture perfectly. With the mat in place, you will be able to see the inner 11.5 x 17.5 of the image that remains. Having the white mat as part of your picture display will improve the security and the overall look of the finished product.
Q: Is the frame durable?
A: Made of wood composite material, this frame is both lightweight and durable. Additionally, we chose to use acrylic as the front face material instead of glass to reduce the risk of shattering or other damage to the images you want to display.
Q: Does the front face come out separately?
A: Yes, the front face needs to be removed, and the protective film on both sides of it needs to be peeled off before installing your picture.
