Each individual frame comes with a premium-grade white 0.060" thick mat. All Mats are acid-free, lignin-free, and are made from 100% virgin alpha-cellulose surface paper, core, and backing paper. All Mats are fade and bleed resistant and have a 45-degree bevel interior cut.
EXACT FIT: Frames are designed to fit the dimension of the photo exactly. Example: 10x12 for 8x10: A 10x12 photo will fit the 10x12 frame exactly, the mat allows you display the 8x10 center dimensions of the picture. A 8x10 picture may also be taped to the back of the mat, before placing it into the frame.
The frame itself is larger than the picture size by 0.75 inch on each side (e.g. the 10x12 frame will measure 11.5x13.5). The picture display area of the mat is slightly smaller than the photo size by 0.25 inch on each side, for holding purposes. (e.g. the 10x12 frame -8x10 mat will display 7.5x9.5).
FULLY ASSEMBLED: The frames will arrive fully assembled (mat may be outside the frame), with display picture. Please hang these frames using the already installed back hooks. Do not hang by the frame border itself.
