Ten (10) Mats. Black, premium-grade with 45-degree bevel cut with white core. The mat is 4-ply (1/16 inch thick).
- The outer dimensions of the mat equal the size of the frame and the inner dimension equals the desired picture display. (Therefore, 8x10 mat for 6x8 picture will fit into an 8x10 frame).

WARNING:: Inner display area of a mat is 0.5 inch smaller than the listed dimensions (5.5x7.5).

QUALITY: All Mats are acid-free and lignin-free, they are made from 100% virgin alpha-cellulose paper. Mats are resistant and have a 45-degree bevel interior cut.
SIZE: The mat fits in a frame of the same dimensions as the outer (first listed) dimensions of the mat. (As a result, 8x10 mat for 6x8 picture will fit into an 8x10 frame exactly). The inner (second listed) dimension represents the displayed dimensions of the picture. (Hence, 8x10 Mat for a 6x8 picture will display the center 6x8 portion of the picture).
DISPLAY AREA: The display area is 0.5 inch smaller than the listed inner dimensions, for holding purposes. (Therefore, a, 8x10 mat for 6x8 picture has a picture display area of 5.5x7.5 inch)
