The frame itself is larger than the listed dimension by 1 inch (As a result, the 4x10 frame has an outer frame dimension of 5x11), while the picture display area is slightly smaller than the listed dimensions by 0.35 inch for holding purposes (Hence, the 4x10 frame has a picture display area of 3.65x9.65 inch).
