Ten (10) Mats. Black, premium-grade with 45-degree bevel cut with white core. The mat is 4-ply (1/16 inch thick).
- The outer dimensions of the mat equal the size of the frame and the inner dimension equals the desired picture display. (Therefore, 20x24 mat for 16x20 picture will fit into a 20x24 frame).

WARNING:: Inner display area of a mat is 0.5 inch smaller than the listed dimensions (15.5x19.5).

QUALITY: All Mats are acid-free and lignin-free, they are made from 100% virgin alpha-cellulose paper. Mats are resistant and have a 45-degree bevel interior cut.
SIZE: The mat fits in a frame of the same dimensions as the outer (first listed) dimensions of the mat. (As a result, 20x26 mat for 16x22 picture will fit into a 20x26 frame exactly). The inner (second listed) dimension represents the displayed dimensions of the picture. (Hence, 20x26 Mat for a 16x22 picture will display the center 16x22 portion of the picture).
DISPLAY AREA: The display area is 0.5 inch smaller than the listed inner dimensions, for holding purposes. (Therefore, a, 20x26 mat for 16x22 picture has a picture display area of 15.5x21.5 inch)
